Responsible Play & 18+
You must be 18 or older to buy a Florida Lottery ticket. The Scratch Sheet is intended for adults only.
We inform — we don’t encourage
The Scratch Sheet exists to give people honest information, not to push anyone to play. We don’t sell tickets, take bets, or process any wager. We analyze the state’s own published remaining-prize data so that people who have already decided to buy a ticket can avoid the worst ones.
That’s also why you won’t find any of the usual dark patterns here: no countdown timers, no “hot” or “lucky” numbers, no pick generators, no urgency, no hype. Number-picking superstition is deliberately out of scope. If anything on the site ever reads as pressure to gamble, that’s a bug — tell us.
The honest math
Every scratch-off is a losing bet on average — the lottery keeps a large cut by design. Our “expected return” figures are estimates of how much of each dollar comes back across all tickets in a game; they are not a prediction for your ticket, and no ticket is ever a good financial investment. A higher number just means a game is currently less bad, not that it wins. Treat the lottery as entertainment you can afford to lose — never as a way to make money, pay bills, or get out of a hole.
Play within your means
- Set a budget before you play, and stop when you hit it.
- Only spend money you can afford to lose. Never borrow to play.
- Don’t chase losses — buying more tickets doesn’t make the odds better.
- If it stops being fun, take a break.
